Bristol-based Byfield Services Ltd, is an independent plant hire company providing quality equipment for the building sector across the South West. The company owns a wide range of hire equipment from excavators and dumpers, to rollers and trailers.
Joint-owners Simon Dew and Spencer Thomas established the company in 2008, and over the last nine years the business has grown from strength to strength, acquiring more and more equipment in response to high demand from the construction industry in the region.
This month, Ignition helped Byfield Services purchase 20 new 9-tonne Thwaites Site Dumpers, to help keep up with demand.
Simon Dew commented:
“The construction sector in the South West is booming. This has had a positive impact on our business, and provided a real opportunity to grow and expand. We knew that the extra dumpers would be welcomed by our customers, and within a few weeks of delivery, they are all already in use.”
