Hadley Powder Coatings, based in Plymouth, is one of the leading powder coating companies in the South West, providing a unique and durable finish on many applications from gates and railings to motorcycle frames, wheels and mechanical components. The company offers more than 240 different colours with multiple textures, in matt or gloss.
In 2014, Managing Director James Hadley, saw an opportunity to diversify his business and launched Hadley Fencing Supplies, supplying high quality security mesh and palisade fencing, with accompanying gates purchased from separate contractors.
In the last 12 months, both Hadley Engineering Group companies have undergone a period of rapid expansion to increase capacity and fulfil larger orders. Ignition has helped by providing finance for a third powder coating plant and a new shot blaster machine used to strip and key metals.
Recently, James Hadley decided to move the business forward by taking on the manufacturing of the security gates they were supplying, but he needed more equipment to do so. He contacted Ignition, who provided finance for an Edwards Pearson Press Brake: a machine for folding sheet metal.
